Cabbage Savoy is a large, flat-domed cabbage with attractive, crinkled leaves. It can be eaten raw or steamed and tastes great in salads, sandwiches, wraps and Asian cuisine or as a tasty vegetable side fried with bacon and onion.
Requiring a position in full sun, Cabbage Savoy should be planted in well-drained soil that has been that has been enriched with compost or manure prior to planting and water regularly to ensure the soil stays moist. Adding mulch on top of your garden bed will help retain moisture in the soil.
