Acacia lasiocarpa is a small spreading wattle with masses of golden, round, fluffy flowers in winter and spring.
A decorative plant for general garden use, and is suitable to coastal gardens or hot, dry spots in the landscape.
This Acacia is best grown in a sunny to partly shaded position in well drained, light to heavy soils and will tolerate coastal conditions, drought and poor soils. Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth.
Acacia lasiocarpa is a flat ground cover and grows to a height of 50 centimetres and a width of 1 metre.
