SpecificationsThis striking succulent provides excellent contrast and will definitely stand out against other greenery. Aeonium arboreum Velour is a more rounded form of Aeonium Atropurpureum, producing more compact rosettes up to 25cm in diameter, of fleshy deep burgundy foliage with a contrasting green centre. Aeonium Velour does not form a trunk however spreads out more like a ground cover. During spring, stunning clusters of yellow flowers bloom creating a tropical feel to the garden. Aeonium arboreum Velour is well suited for containers and pots, although can be planted directly in garden beds as well as rockeries and looks fantastic in small coutyads. Aeonium arboreum Velour prefers full sunlight with free draining sand or loam soils. This waterwise plant will also tolerate dry conditions. Aeonium arboreum Velour is relatively low maintenance. Restrict watering during winter months. This plant does need protection from severe frosts, and can grow to a height of 50cm and width of 1 metre.
