Adenanthos cunninghamii lighthouse is an upright shrub, which produces small, unusual red jug-shaped flowers at the ends of branches during spring. An ornamental plant with beautiful soft, silvery-grey foliage.
As cunninghamii is a hybrid between sercius and cuneata, Lighthouse has the best of both and is ideal for coastal planting, contrast planting and hedging. The fine furry like foliage gives a soft appearance in the garden. Can also be used for mass planting and mixed native gardens. Waterwise once established Lighthouse is very low maintenace.
Best grown in full or part shade in well drained soil. Tolerates light frost and dry conditions. Prune back after flowering to maintain compact growth.
Adenanthos Lighthouse will grow to a height of 1m and a width of 1m.
