Dahlia Red Skin produces colourful, double flowers above compact, bushy plants. They come in a range of bright colours including red, yellow, orange, pink and purple and flower atop it's lush green-bronze foliage from summer through to early autumn. Ideal for garden beds, borders, containers and beautiful cut flowers Dahlia's prefer a position in full sun to partial shade and should be planted in well-drained soil that has been has been enriched with compost or manure prior to planting. Water regularly, keeping the soil moist throughout the growing season. Adding mulch on top of your garden bed will help retain moisture in the soil. Remove spent blooms on your Dahlia plant to encourage new growth and keep your plants in continual flower.
