SpecificationsCockscomb produce a crested head of upright, feathery flowers, in an assortment of bright colours ranging from red and pink to yellow that resembles a rosters comb. Their beautiful flowers make an interesting addition to any garden and can be expected to bloom throughout late summer to late autumn. Ideal for garden beds, borders, rockeries, containers, mass plantings and cut flowers Cockscomb should be planted in a position in full to partial shade and should be planted in well-drained soil that has been enriched with compost or manure prior to planting. Water regularly until the seedlings are established then water heavily once or twice per week. Add mulch on top of your garden bed to help retain moisture in the soil. Although they don't have any fragrance, they maintain their shape when dried making them a perfect addition to dried floral arrangements as a cut flower. Cockscomb grows to approx. 1 metre high and should be planted 20-30cm apart.
