SpecificationsCelosia Formula 'flowers' have one central spike of large, feathery plumes surrounded by several smaller ones. They come in a mix of vibrant colours from orange, red, yellow and pink and add a spectacular splash of colour to any home garden, blooming during spring and summer. Ideal for pots, borders, rockeries and beautiful cut flowers Celosia Formula should be planted in a position in full sun in rich, well-drained soil that has been enriched with compost or manure prior to planting. Water regularly until the seedlings are established then water heavily once or twice per week. Add mulch on top of your garden bed to help retain moisture in the soil. Celosia Formula makes excellent cut flowers. Plumes can also be hung upside down to dry out and then used as decoration in bouquets and dried flower arrangements. Once they have finished their season the plants can be recycled into compost or mulch and redistributed in the home garden. Celosia Formula mix is a dwarf variety of Celosia that grows approx. 20cm high and should be planted 15-20cm apart.
