SpecificationsDianthus Persian Carpet, often referred to as 'Pinks' because their petals jaggered edges look like they have been cut with pinking sheers, is a dwarf variety of Dianthus that produces masses of salmon, pink, scarlet and white coloured flowers throughout spring and summer. Ideal for garden beds, borders, containers and rockeries Dianthus would benefit from a position in full sun and should be planted in well-drained soil that has been has been enriched with compost or manure prior to planting. Water regularly, keeping the soil moist throughout the growing season. Adding mulch on top of your garden bed will help retain moisture in the soil. Remove spent blooms on your Dianthus plant to encourage new growth and keep your plants in continual flower. Dianthus Persian Carpet grows to approx. 10-15cm high and should be planted 20cm apart.
