    Conostylis juncea is a dwarf form, rhizomatous perennial with tufted green grass-like foliage and bright yellow flower clusters around the base of the plant from late winter to early spring. Grows in sandy soils and is found naturally in open woodland and heath from Jurien Bay to Bunbury where it grows inland from the coast, outward towards the Wheatbelt. Excellent for verge plantings, native gardens, edges and mass or group planting. Tolerates drought and periods of light frost. Conostylis juncea will grow to a height of 0.2m and a width of 0.2m.
