  • Specifications

    A creeping perennial herb with green foliage on slender stems and white to pink-purple flowers appearing from late winter until early spring. Native to Western Australia, Centella is often found in winter-wet depressions along the coastlin, growing naturally in fresh water wetlands. It is a popular species for revegetation projects. This edible herb is often added to salads and is a popular addition to many Asian recipies. In traditional medicine, Centella asiatica has been used to treat various disorders and minor wounds. Requires a shaded position with moist soil and protection from frost. Centella asiatica will grow to a height of 40cm and a width of 25cm.
