SpecificationsThis delightful mounding shrub is ideal in many situations. The growth habit and uniform performance make it ideal for borders and mass plantings. 'Serenity Red' is lovely shades of deep red with velvety petals and will contrast nicely with just about anything and the long flowering season means many months of continuous colour. A light prune after flowering in late summer is suggested to maintain the shape. Add some fertilizer for that second vibrant flush. 'Serenity Red' is excellent for erosion control on slopes and is drought tolerant, although lack of water will mean less flowers. Highly suited to coastal areas as well as cottage gardens and containers in sunny situations. Keep watered until established and for that extra flowering explosion you can fertilize weekly.
