SpecificationsThis tough Australian Native Fern has dark green leathery fronds which are carried on long spreading hairy rhizomes. Ideal for 'under-planting' due to it's low-growing spreading habit, and it will also grow up into trees when in a shady humid position. The Kangaroo fern can be a stand-alone plant and also does well in hanging baskets indoors or outside and will be fine if it misses the occasional water as long as the soil remains moist or the roots may die. The leaves are also ideal as added decoration in floral arrangements due to the length of the leaves. This hardy fern will also tolerate light frosts and will grow well in most parts of Australia. Microsorums enjoy moist, well-drained soils and can tolerate heat but do not like direct sunlight. Ideal indoors or in outdoor entertaining areas in decorative pots and hangers, or planted directly in the garden.
