Callitris preissii is a low maintenance, evergreen conifer tree with a dense and slender habit. The branching foliage is grey-green and scale like, each leaf is typically 2-4mm long.
Brown globular seed pods are produced throughout the year.
Preissii makes an excellent shade tree, windbreak and screening specimen.
For optimum results, position in a full sun to partly shaded position with well drained sandy soil. The growth rate of pressii varies depending on the soil type and environmental conditions. Ideal for open windy sites and front line coastal conditions.
Keep moist during dry weather until root system is established. Mulching will help to preserve moisture within the soil.
Callitris preissii will grow to a height of 10-20m and a width of 5-8m.
