Banksia petiolaris is a beautiful and eye catching, low spreading, evergreen shrub from coastal Western Australia, with vertical foliage that is bronze when young. Bright yellow flowers are displayed during Spring, Summer and Winter. It makes a great plant for rockeries and a general ground cover. Also good for erosion control and covering embankments as it can spread to cover a large area. Plant in full sun or part shade position with well-draining soil. Tolerates most frost, short wet periods and extended dry spells. Water well until established. Banksia Petiolaris will grow to a height of 30-60cm and a width of 2-4m.
