SpecificationsDracaenas are members of the ancient dragon tree family, which produce stunning sword-like leaves. This particular variety, Draco, is a slow-growing, evergreen tree that forms stiff, blue-green leaves. This variety also produces insignificant flowers that are followed by orange berries in summer. Dracaena draco is an ideal feature tree in parks, landscapes and gardens. It is also ideal for patio pots and containers. Plant in an area of full sun to part shade, with well drained soil. If planting indoors, ensure that the area is well lit. Dracaena draco copes with reasonably cold winters, but not frost and grows best in tropical and subtropical gardens, including coastal locations. Once established, Dracaena Draco is hardy and drought tolerant. Dracaena draco is a low maintenance plant. Prune the stems in spring to encourage better branching. Liquid fertilise regularly and water only when dry. Dracaena draco can grow to a height of 9 metres and a width of 4 metres.
